Working Principle:

The Smart Blind Stick operates by continuously monitoring its surroundings through an array of sensors:

  • Ultrasonic Sensor: Measures the distance to objects in front of the stick by emitting ultrasonic waves. When an obstacle is detected within a specified range, it triggers the buzzer and vibration motor to alert the user.
  • Flame Sensor: Senses the presence of fire or high temperatures. Upon detection, it activates an urgent warning via the buzzer and vibration, alerting the user of a nearby fire hazard.
  • Water Sensor: Detects moisture or water on the ground, ensuring the user is alerted to slippery surfaces. It signals the buzzer and vibration motor to help the user avoid dangerous wet areas.
  • LDR (Light Dependent Resistor): Detects low-light environments and alerts the user if they are moving into a poorly lit area. This sensor could also activate a small light on the stick for additional visibility.
